Outside my Comfort Zone! Tim Holtz inspired Tag

My Tag I created to go with the Knitted Gift I made
Click photo to enlarge detail.
Totally out of my comfort zone but I love the Tag
I LOVE the Tattered Pinecone die!
I cut out the Tattered Pinecone die 3 times and 1 Pine Tree
Using Distress Crackle Paint Clear Rock Candy apply a generous amount and let dry.
I used Faded Jeans, Dusty Concord and Picket Fence Distress Stains
I dabbed my colors... spritzed my Tag & Flowers with water & Swirled thru the colors
This is what it looked like after I was done Swirling thru the colors
I then Spritzed with Perfect Pearls Mist Perfect Pearls color
I cut SnowFlurries Border out of a Spellbinders Package and dabbed with Pearl Dabber
I inked my stamp with Dusty Concord Distress Stain and Stamped next to my Flurries border
I colored my boughs, pine tree and white Ribbon with Shabby Shutters Stain
After that dried I added Picket Fence Stain ontop LOVE THIS!
Then I assembled my pine cones (can make roses also out of this die)
Then I colored more white ribbon with Dusty Concord and assembled my Tag
I hope you love my Tag as much as I loved creating it

Cindy, anyone would be thrilled to receive your tag, let alone the hand-knitted gift you made. When I ordered the re-inkers, I thought that I had everything I needed. And now I see that I "need" the stains. Will my want list ever be finished? I guess not.

I could see those pine boughs being used to make reindeer antlers all glossied up. I love using dies and stamps for things they originally aren't supposed to be. Cute stuff.
